    Find the right Program

    There are options for you to cover the costs of mobility and home accessibility equipment from Government funding and Non – Profit organizations. These will be based on eligibility and factors such as your age, requirements, and inc ome. Not all equipment is eligible for funding, and our team is here to guide you through the right decision – making process to assist.

    Applications can require detailed information, and we are here to guide you and your therapist on filling out the application and managing further processes.

    How does Ontario Home Health help

    The approval of your funding application can take weeks to months. Contact us as early as possible so we can get back to you and help you complete your application, and you can move forward in the process.

    Placing your order

    We wait to receive funding approvals prior to placing orders to save on unexpected costs for you. Once the approval is in, we work to get everything ordered to specifications to meet your needs.

    Delivery

    We strive to help with optimizing mobility, enhancing performa nce, and ensuring safety. After your equipment arrives, we will schedule a final fitting appointment to ensure a perfect fit and comfort. We will also provide guidance on maintenance and care,addressing any extra questions you might have. We understand th e significance of your equipment , which is why we offer rental options and repair services for existing equipment, ensuring your independence and safety during the funding and procurement phases.

    Variety the Children’s Charity

    With chapters in Alberta, BC, Manitoba, Ontario & Saskatchewan, Variety supports children who are living with disabilities and specialized needs through education, advocacy, and direct support.

    MD Canada – Equipment Program

    Financial assistance for individuals affected by neuromuscular disorders to obtain the essential equipment needed to enhance their quality of life.

    Spinal Cord Injury Ontario

    Assistance with navigation support as well as financial help through the Equipment for Independence Program.

    Oracle Health Foundation

    Pediatric grants that cover a wide variety of clinical, equipment, travel and lodging, and vehicle modification costs related to children's healthcare needs.

    Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB)

    Benefits, compensation and return-to-work services as a result of a work-related injury or illness.

    Ontario Seniors’ Home Safety Tax Credit

    Tax credit to help seniors, or people who live with a senior relative, make their home safer and more accessible through home renovations (e.g. grab bars, reinforcements around toilet, bathtub and shower, ramps, stairlifts).

    Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy – Assistive Devices Funding Program

    Enables individual OCFP members with funding to access life-changing assistive devices and equipment.

    ALS Canada – Equipment Program

    Access to basic and essential assistive equipment for Canadians who have been diagnosed with ALS, including: loan equipment program, funding assistance programs, and flexible funding program for small bathroom equipment.

    MS Society of Canada – Quality of Life Equipment Program

    Provides financial assistance to Canadians living with multiple sclerosis who require support to purchase mobility equipment and safety devices.

    Jordan’s Principle (NIHB)

    Responds to unmet needs of First Nations children anywhere in Canada. Includes coordination of access and funding for mobility aids, ramps, assessments and screenings, and medical supplies.

    Non-Insured Health Benefits for First Nations and Inuit (NIHB)

    Covers items on the Medical Supplies and Equipment Guide and Benefit Lists, prescribed by a health professional and provided by a supplier eligible to deliver the specific supplies or equipment.

    Assistive Devices Program (ADP)

    Helps Ontarians with long-term physical disabilities pay for customized equipment, like wheelchairs, and specialized supplies.

    Ontario Works

    Additional support for those unable to pay the client portion of an assistive device funded by the Assistive Devices Program (ADP). Ontario Works may also assist with the cost of assistive device assessments.

    Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP)

    Helps people receiving Ontario Disability Support Program Income Support by funding equipment purchase, repair and maintenance. Includes mobility devices (i.e. wheeled walkers and wheelchairs) and certain medical supplies (i.e. ostomy supplies).

    Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities (ACSD)

    Supports low- to moderate-income families in covering some of the extra costs (including the purchase and repair of wheelchairs and other assistive devices) of caring for a child with a severe disability.

    March of Dimes Canada – Home and Vehicle Modification Program (HVMP)

    Assists adults with physical disabilities in Ontario and Manitoba who require renovations and retrofits for functional independence.

    Humm does a soft credit check when the purchase is under $17,500. This soft check will not impact
    the applicant’s credit score. Humm does a hard credit check when the purchase is $17,500 or over.
    This hard check may show as a credit inquiry on the applicant’s credit score.

    Yes! Along with no hidden fees, pet owners can repay the loan balance at anytime, without penalty.
    In some cases, humm is unable to provide the limit requested. We use proprietary technology to assess the application and provide the applicant with the best credit limit based on that assessment.

    All refunds are provided based on the business’ return policy.

    Full refunds will be returned to the customer’s method of payment, in full after 3-5 business days.

    Partial refunds will be applied to the end of a customer’s loan term and monthly payment amount will remain unchanged.
